First, a big THANK YOU to those who participated in this year’s FLIPPED! VBS! We had a good turnout of children and great volunteers to help make the day go smoothly. What an amazing day! God was truly on the move in the hearts and lives of all those involved.
During our Kingdom Kids service, we followed the Israelites through some challenging times. We learned the purpose and importance of God’s Laws and the cost of disobedience and what happens when you chose faith over fear. We also learned that God is forgiving but He is also just.
This month we are looking at four beautiful truths: God protects His people; God’s mercy is for everyone; God gives us peace; and God is always with us. To explore these truths, we will be looking
at the Israelites when the prophet Balaam was hired to curse them, and the cities of refuge God established to protect His people.
We will face a giant named Goliath and see how David found courage to slay his foe. We’ll follow the apostles Paul and Barnabas and learn how they responded to stressful and difficult situations. Finally, we will hear the words of Jesus that promise that no matter what we face, we are never alone.
Our preschoolers are learning that God’s Word is special and that He is always with us!
